Resunga
In Nepali: रेसुङ्गा

Resunga rises above Tamghas, the headquarters of Gulmi, to about 2,340 m. Its forest is protected, and on top stands a temple associated with the sage Kashyapa; Buddhists also link it with the earlier Buddha Kashyapa. Pilgrims gather here during Janai Purnima and other festivals.
Gulmi is known for its organic coffee, grown on hillsides around Tamghas; ask to visit a farm or processing centre.
What to see and do
Walk up through the forest to the temple and the viewpoint, with the hills of Gulmi and the Himalaya on clear days. Visit coffee farms around Tamghas and learn how Gulmi's coffee is grown and processed.
Good to know
The trail is steep in places. Tamghas has simple hotels. Local fairs are held at Janai Purnima and other festivals.
